Yamahei-kiln was founded in 1967 by Heisaku Yamamoto, grandfather of the current owner, Hirofumi Yamamoto, independented from Yamasho-kiln, an Arita-yaki kiln.
Yamahei produces non-traditional, simple, modern, and functional tableware mainly for high-end restaurants. Yamahei designs from natural objects, and the patterns of these bubbles are different from one another and look like naturally occurring bubbles.
